In the midst of high rainfall, Laksana Business Park emphasizes the resilience of the area through an integrated drainage system that keeps industrial operations smooth and flood-free, providing certainty for tenants and investors.
Jakarta, Agung Intiland News - In the midst of the increasing intensity of rain that has hit the Greater Jakarta area and its surroundings in recent weeks, Laksana Business Park ensures that the industrial and warehousing estates it manages remain in safe, flood-free conditions, and support the smooth business operations of tenants.
The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) previously said that most regions of Indonesia have currently entered the peak period of the rainy season, with the potential for moderate to heavy rain that can be accompanied by extreme weather. BMKG emphasizes the importance of infrastructure preparedness, especially drainage systems and water runoff control, to minimize the risk of inundation and flooding in residential and industrial areas.
"High rainfall has the potential to cause hydrometeorological impacts, including inundation and flooding, especially in areas with suboptimal water systems. Therefore, infrastructure readiness is a key factor in facing the rainy season," said the official statement of BMKG in its statement.
In line with this, the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) also appealed to all stakeholders, including industrial estate managers, to increase mitigation and environmental management measures during the rainy season. BNPB emphasized that prevention efforts through infrastructure planning and maintenance are much more effective than post-disaster management.
"BNPB encourages area managers to ensure that the drainage system functions properly, waterways are not blocked, and the environment is maintained to reduce the risk of flooding that can disrupt economic activities," said BNPB.
In the midst of these weather challenges, Laksana Business Park emphasized that this area has been designed since the initial planning stage with an organized, integrated, and adequate drainage system to manage rainwater flow. This system is supported by area elevation planning, internal drainage networks, and periodic maintenance programs to ensure optimal water flow during high rainfall.
"The rainy season is an annual challenge for industrial estates. Therefore, we ensure that the water system functions optimally so that tenants' operational activities can continue to run smoothly without disruption due to inundation," said the representative of Laksana Business Park management.
With the support of this infrastructure, logistics, distribution, and industrial operations in the area continue to run normally even though it rains with high intensity. This certainty is an important factor for business actors who need operational stability and smooth supply chains.
In addition to the drainage system, the area is also equipped with internal roads designed for heavy vehicles, controlled environmental management, and professional area management standards. The combination of infrastructure strengthens the region's resilience to rainy season risks.
By ensuring that the area remains flood-free, Laksana Business Park affirms its commitment as a modern industrial estate that is resilient to climate challenges, while providing business certainty for investors and industry players in the Tangerang area and its surroundings. (JP)
